Lapins Nains Teddy

A family breeder of Teddy dwarf rabbits in La Couronne, near Marseille: the parents, the litters, the babies available this week and the advice for whoever takes one home, told with photographs the size they deserve.

The site they had

A free Wifeo page from another decade: a title in capitals, a column of links in capitals, a hand-typed “updated on 10 OCT 26”, photographs the size of a stamp and a phone number as the only way in. The babies available were a line of text, and there was no page to reserve one.

What we built

Ninety-two pages in seven languages — French first, then English, German, Spanish, Italian, Polish and Portuguese: a home with three photographs that turn on their own, a page per rabbit with its parents and its siblings, the babies available with a booking page that writes the WhatsApp message for you, the advice on feeding, cages and health, an album that runs across the screen, the seventy-four messages from the guest book, and a panel where the litters, the photographs and the new messages are updated without touching code, translated automatically into the other six languages.

What it shows

The care put into the animals is finally visible: each litter has its date and its photograph, each rabbit its own page, and anyone interested reserves from their phone instead of calling on a Sunday morning. And the site stays current without anybody writing a line of HTML.
