Villetta Nonna Giovanna

A newly built villa a few minutes on foot from the southern beaches of Marsala: five guests, two bedrooms, a private infinity pool with a solarium and a pergola with an outdoor kitchen. Told with the photographs that already existed, in the seven languages its guests come from.

The site they had

One single page on Wix: the history of Marsala, a “Location” paragraph, a row of icons, a gallery of twenty-three photos, a weekly rates table and a contact form, with the Wix ad strip across the top. The only other page was the English version, named — literally — “copia-di-home”. Nowhere to see which weeks were free and no way to book: the bookings came in through Booking.com or by email.

What we built

Fifty-six pages in seven languages — Italian first, then English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Polish: a home you travel through with two films built from the real photographs, one outside with the pool and one through the inside of the house; The villetta, with eighteen amenities and eight details with carousels of their own; Marsala and around, with eleven places, their real distances, a map and how to get there; a four-step booking engine with a calendar, the nightly rate and the seven-night minimum; the Booking reviews; and an assistant and twelve frequently asked questions in every language.

What it shows

The guest sees the house from the inside and knows what a week costs before writing: the weekly rates from the Wix are on the calendar night by night, the dates are checked on the page and the request arrives directly, without going through a portal — in German and Polish too, which is where the reviews come from. The photographs are the ones that were already there; what changed is how they are told.
