What we collect, and what we don’t
Last updated: 4 September 2026
Short version: this site collects the details you type into the contact form, and — only if you agree to it — anonymous statistics about how people find us. We don’t run ads, we don’t sell data, and we don’t build profiles of anyone. This page explains the rest in plain terms.
Who is responsible
High Season Studio (Juan Biatturi), a web design studio based in Uruguay, serving clients across Europe and the United States. This site is highseasonstudio.com.
For anything on this page — including deleting your data — write to juan@highseasonstudio.com. We answer within a few days.
What we collect
When you use the contact form
We receive what you type: your name, your business, your current website, and the email or phone number where you want a reply. We use it for one thing — answering you with a quote. It is not added to any mailing list and it is not shared with anyone else.
When you browse the site (only with your consent)
If you accept analytics in the cookie banner, Google Analytics 4 records anonymous usage: pages viewed, approximate location (country/city level), device type, how you got here, and which buttons get clicked. We use it to know which pages actually work. IP addresses are anonymised by Google and we never see your identity.
If you decline, no analytics cookie is written at all. The site works exactly the same.
Always, for the site to function
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser, page requested, timestamp) for security and to keep the site online. Your cookie choice is stored locally in your own browser, not on our servers.
Legal basis (GDPR)
- Consent (Art. 6.1.a) — analytics. You give it in the banner and can take it back whenever you like.
- Pre-contractual steps at your request (Art. 6.1.b) — answering your enquiry with a quote.
- Legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f) — server logs, to keep the site running and secure.
Who else processes your data
We keep this list as short as we can. Each of these companies acts as a processor and has its own privacy terms:
- Vercel — hosting. Serves the site and keeps server logs.
- FormSubmit — delivers the contact form to our inbox. Your form data passes through their servers on the way to us.
- Zoho Mail — our email. Where your message ends up and is stored.
- Google Analytics — usage statistics. Only active if you accept.
- Google Fonts — the typefaces you’re reading. Loaded from Google’s servers, which means your IP address reaches Google when the page loads.
How long we keep it
- Contact enquiries: as long as the conversation is useful, and up to 2 years after our last exchange in case you come back. Ask us and we delete it sooner.
- Analytics: 14 months, then Google deletes it automatically.
- Server logs: short-term, per our hosting provider’s policy.
- Your cookie choice: stays in your browser until you clear it.
Your rights
If you are in the EU or the UK, the GDPR gives you the right to ask for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
To use any of these, email juan@highseasonstudio.com. No forms, no hoops — just ask and we’ll do it.
Cookies
Two things get stored in your browser:
- Your cookie choice — a small local entry so we don’t ask you again on every visit. Not a tracking cookie and never sent anywhere.
- Google Analytics cookies (
_ga,_ga_*) — only written after you accept. They tell repeat visits apart, and expire after 2 years.
To change your mind: clear this site’s data in your browser settings and the banner will ask you again.
Changes
If this policy changes we’ll update the date at the top. We won’t quietly start collecting more than what’s described here.
Written to be readable rather than to sound legal. If you need a specific clause for your own compliance review, ask and we’ll put it in writing.
