La Saucisserie Gîtes
Visit the site ↗Four stone gîtes and two bell tents around a courtyard in Saint-Pierre-de-Frugie, in the Périgord Vert. Ninety pages in five languages, with the price of every night visible before anyone writes.
BeforeAfter
The starting point
A Wix with a third-party booking widget dropped into it. The six places shared the same pages, the rates lived in a PDF, and to know what a night cost in October a guest had to ask. Nothing could be searched by dates, and the booking conditions were an attachment.
What we built
Ninety pages in five languages — English at the root, then French, German, Dutch and Spanish: a home you travel through, a “Book a gîte” page with a search and one calendar showing the next four months, a page for each of the six places with its own two-month calendar, the offers, the facilities, what there is around, and the booking conditions as real pages instead of a PDF. The calendars are ours and carry the price of each night; the owners’ existing booking widget sits folded underneath, so nothing they already use breaks. Behind it, a “My site” panel in English where they edit any page from the page itself, set their own rates and read the enquiries.
What it shows
Six different stays stop competing for the same page, and the question that used to arrive by email — what does it cost that week — is answered before anyone writes. The owners change prices and texts themselves, in five languages, without touching code.
The panel they run it with
No developer and no monthly fee: the owner opens the panel from a phone, changes a photo, a price or a sentence, and the site updates itself. Every site we build comes with its own, in the owner's language, with a written guide and a video that shows each screen.
